World-Building Month, AKA I Am Such a Slacker

Yes, I’m participating in Elizaw’s World-Building Month over at http://elizaw.wordpress.com/. So I’m actually posting for once. Note to self: write here when there ISN’T a challenge on. Anyway, I’m building the world for the same project I spent Villain Month on.

Anyway, this cake is great this is what I would like to cover in this fine month of August:

• The history of the world
• The history of the Party (make up a better name for it)
• The history of the Academy
• The history of the Resistance (make up a better name for it)
• The magic system
• Relations between the upper class (magic users) and the lower classes (non-magic users)
• Personal history of the major characters

So, as you can see, I kind of have a lot ahead of me. I think I’ll take on the history of the world/Party next post. I have family over, so I don’t know how long it’s going to be until I post again.
